Although Zoey grew up leading worship in church from a young age, she had a transformational encounter with Jesus at 15. She was in a really dark place when she discovered the power and truth of the gospel to change her life. When she understood how Jesus had given His life for her, she knew that the only right response was to give her life for Him.

Over the years Zoey has been a worship leader at several area churches. Most recently she was a worship intern for New Heights Church in Vancouver, WA, where she continued to grow in her confidence as a leader. It was there that she acknowledged the Lord is leading her on the path of vocational ministry. Even more, she learned it is more than okay to be confident in what the Lord has gifted her in, and in what He has called her to.

In 2025 Zoey trained as a missionary with Circuit Riders. Associated with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Circuit Riders specifically focuses on ministering to High School and College Students through worship. She was deeply impacted in high school when she attended a Circuit Riders event, and she was excited to tour Mexico for 3 months with a worship band at the conclusion of her training.
